The Tom Girl. American Eagle's new take on the Boyfriend Jean. They are so comfortable and have the perfect touch of distress to them. You can make them your own and dress them down with kicks or add a little edge and put a open toe stacked heel with them like I did here. Boyfriend Jeans are definitely a staple denim piece for fall!
I've been on the hunt for a new blow out bar ever since Dry Bar raised their prices in New York City. This city is expensive and I am always looking to save a little! I work insane hours and whenever I get downtime my guilty pleasure is a good blowout. Thats how I came across Dream Dry and fell in LOVE. I spent the past week at the Jersey Shore for a mini getaway. It was so nice to get away for a couple of days and disconnect from work. Only fitting though to shoot some looks at the beach though!
My makeup was done by my sister, @livinlavida_yoga. She's a really talented makeup artist and taught me the art of contour! I wanted a smokey day to night eye with some highlights to reflect off the setting sun. She knew exactly what I was looking for. This dress is by Jill Stuart and is definitely something I would put one of my clients in for a summer wedding or any other formal occasion so when I decided to wear it, I wanted to see what it would be like without shoes down by the water. And it turned out gorgeous! Its so comfortable and light and the breeze picked it up perfectly. If you are looking for a good transitional dress this one is on my list!

Spent the Afternoon walking the highline in this perfect summer piece from Opening Ceremony. And if you dont know me, I love to style everything with sneakers. I am some what of a Vans Girl. The perfect shoe to run around in. I will dress them with everything I can. These pair were the Opening Ceremony x Vans Vault edition so I thought it was fitting to match with this dress!

This is look was so much fun to shoot. AND THIS SKIRT. Everyone needs some drama in their life and this was my moment. Starting to show off some Pre Fall Looks. This maxi and men's oxford is an easy pulled together look. I got a little over the top with it wide open but you are more than welcome to button it up or show it off! I love the black and white layering. Would definitely rock this again!

Spent my Saturday at the New York Botanical Gardens in the Bronx getting to experience the Exhibit of one of my favorite artists, Frida Kahlo. If you are in New York you should most definitely put it on your list of things to do! Her Gardens and Artwork are amazing and incredibly inspiring. The perfect thing for this summer!
